Everest 1933

This is unique footage of the epic expedition to Mount Everest in 1933 led by Hugh Ruttledge with Eric Shipton, Frank Smythe, Jack Longland and others in the team. The film follows the "march in" of the expedition across Tibet and the establishing of Base Camp beyond the Rongbuk Monastery and climb up the North Col and the assult on Everest to over 28,000 feet.
